Suvaky

The Dammuso located in the Suvaky area – between Sataria and Punta Fram – are the best ones from which to admire the sun setting into the sea or behind the profile of the Tunisian coast.

Suvaky, or Suvaki, is one of the many place-names on the island that have an Arab origin. The Arabs lived on the island for less than tree centuries of the Middle Ages, but the culture and construction processes that they brought have been passed on from one generation to the next and are still alive today.
